Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead

I’m really excited to help spread the word about a new local Central Florida production taking place next weekend. It’s called Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead and while it will no doubt entertaining, it’s meant to bring awareness of and tackle some pretty major issues.

Our goal is to bring awareness to the current epidemic of bullying, hate crimes and suicide that is running rampant amongst young people…utilizing iconic characters that we all know and love, our staging aims to push the boundaries of social identification…we’re not all “written” to be a certain way. Our production challenges what others think of us in an effort to be the best version of ourselves, even in the face of adversity, all in an attempt to become a little less… predictable.

I’m sure we all know someone who has been bullied, may have been bullied ourselves, or god help us you have been a bullier. This is a relevant, prevalent societal topic and it should be interesting to see it presented in this way.

Here’s a peek at some of the talent in rehearsal’s for next weekend’s shows:

Sounds pretty interesting, huh? We’ll be attending a preview later on in the week….
