Yard House Lands in Orlando

new_YardHouseLogoYard House is a restaurant concept that originated in Southern California and has been expanding greatly over the past few years. Recently, it was acquired by Darden Restaurants (who we all know is globally headquartered here in Central Florida), and several new locations are opening this year including one in Orlando, on I-Drive. Yard House will offer locals and visitors one of the largest selections of draft beers, a diverse menu of American fare, and a heady selection of classic rock music on a state-of-the-art sound system.

Taking a quick peek at the menu, looks like there will be some delicious dishes which will include salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, seafood, steak, and more. Definitely diverse! You can see all of the items on the Yard House menu.

We were on that side of town recently and caught a glimpse of the location and current state of progress:

Yard House Orlando

According to an article originally posted on OrlandoSentinel.com:

The Orlando location of Yard House will include an island bar with 140 taps of draught beer pumped from a glass-enclosed room that holds about 250 kegs. The beer will travel from the keg room to the center island bar through miles of overhead steel tubing that feeds into the taps.

A little more info on the Yard House brand can be found on Darden’s website. You can also keep up with Yard House by Liking them on Facebook, and Following them on Twitter and Instagram.

What do you think? Excited about this new addition to I-Drive? Do you think this brand will help renew some of the struggling business Darden has been facing recently?

Also, if you or someone you know is looking for employment, this location is currently hiring (source: Instagram.com/YardHouse):
