Word on the street and according to an article we recently read in Orlando Business Journal, Thornton Park will soon be welcoming a new “champagne lounge” to the neighborhood that harkens back to the age of the ’70s.
“Pagne Champagne Lounge will open its doors in late February or early March at 100 S. Eola Drive, adjacent to Mingo’s Restaurant, in The Sanctuary building in Thornton Park. The concept will offer a variety of champagne, wine and spirits as well as a selection of appetizers in a 1970’s speakeasy-inspired atmosphere.”
Sounds fun if you ask us, but businesses (with the exception of Mucho Tequila and Tacos and Sonoma Draught House) have struggled to thrive in this area over the past several years. We certainly wish them well.!

What do you think? Are you looking forward to this new addition to the downtown Orlando scene?
Big thanks to our friend Elizabeth B, by the way, for first putting this on our radar.
