Casselberry Latin Jazz & Art Festival

Explosive Mix of Jazz and World Rhythms

We enjoy sharing with our readers events from all over the Central Florida area. So figured you’d be interested to hear about the upcoming Latin Jazz & Art Festival in Casselberry, taking place on September 28th.

This year, in addition to flamenco guitarists (fun!), Latin dancers, Latin art exhibits, specialty vendors, great food and drinks, and kid’s activities, Lao Tizer, a 2011 nominee for “Jazz Group of the Year”, will be performing.

Lao Tizer has taken their multi-faceted sound around the globe including the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta, the Joy of Jazz Festival in Johannesburg, the Dubai Jazz Festival, Barbados Jazz Festival, the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival and the Festival International Providencia Jazz in Santiago, Chile.

Everyone is invited to bring a blanket, chairs and all of their friends to the lakefront amphitheater. Hopefully we’ll see some cooler weather around the end of September. Should be nice! You can obtain additional information about the event by visiting Casselberry.org.

Have you ever been to the Casselberry Latin Jazz & Art Festival? We’d like to hear about your experience!
