Appenberry’s Nursery in College Park

Appenberry's Nursery in College Park

I love plants. Seriously, I have an addiction when it comes to them. Not fake ones. Real ones. Lush, green plants (I can’t really keep anything that blooms) that liven up the home space and just make me feel good.

Typically in the past I’ve just purchased my plants at Lowe’s or Home Depot, or a similar chain business, but in the past few months I’ve been more cognizant of local places that offer even bigger selections than said chains.

So last weekend I decided to take a little trip to Appenberry’s Nursery in College Park, a place I’ve been driving past for years and years, and never taken the time to check out.

So what can you expect to find when shopping at Appenberry’s.

The one right above, on the left – one of the most interesting plants I’ve ever seen. It hangs in the air, and has no roots! I’m not kidding. For care, you simply mist the bottom. I totally want one….

In addition to all the amazing plants and products Appenberry’s offers, they also come complete with their own house kitty!

I love this little quote that’s featured on Appenberry’s website:

Inspiring beauty & knowlege.”

Who doesn’t want either one of those?! I know I do!

More information can be found at Appenberry’s website. I strongly encourage you to pop in sometime and see what they’re all about. SUPPORT LOCAL!
