Dragonfly Robata Grill

Dragonfly Robata GrillI’ve heard several folks speak about Dragonfly Robata Grill in the Dr. Phillips area so of course I knew at some point I’d have to check it out. I mean, we all know I’m never one to turn down delicious food and beverage.

I actually headed over for happy hour after work recently. From the minute I walked through the front doors I immediately liked the place. Great atmosphere, good vibe! The happy hour deals are great, and the food is simply amazing.

Check this out while I wipe my drool (brb):

Dragonfly Robata Grill

Sumo Smash (best drink eva!)

Dragonfly Robata Grill

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus & Pork

Dragonfly Robata Grill

Crunch Roll

Dragonfly Robata Grill

Tiramisu

The happy hour deals are great, and the food is simply amazing.

So, what’s a robata, you might be wondering? According to Wikipedia:

robata (plural robatas):
A charcoal grill used to prepare Japanese food to customers seated around the cooking area
A restaurant featuring such a grill”

If you like what you see here you can view more of the items available on Dragonfly’s menus. You can also Follow Dragonfly on Twitter and Like them on Facebook.

I’m actually pretty eager to make it back over to Dragonfly very soon for either lunch or dinner. I can only imagine if their main meals are as good as the happy hour dishes…well, I’ll be in heaven!
