Central Florida’s Gone Banana’s!

Pulse friend and Yelp! Community Manager Colleen Burns recently told us about a new venture from the owners of Funky Monkey Wine Company, called Banana’s. We’re always up for checking-out new places–especially if food is involved–and with a name like Banana’s how could one resist?

Now, Banana’s isn’t even open yet to the general public (unless something’s changed recently), and since it’s such a new venture there isn’t tons of information on their website. The site, though, does proclaim Banana’s to offer “comfort classics” (ummm….sold!):

Created in the true spirit of the diner, Bananas Modern American Diner is about hearty, familiar fare with a culinary twist, and environments stylish enough for the executive lunch meeting but casual enough for a late-night country fried steak after hitting downtown Orlando nightlife.”

Location deets:

924 N Mills Ave
Orlando, FL 32803

I’m looking forward to hearing more about this new restaurant, and am certainly eager to give it a try. Stay tuned!

UPDATE, 8/3: Banana’s opened to the public on 8/2 at 5:00pm.

I went for a tasting on Friday, YUM! It opened to the general public yesterday at 5pm and is now in FULL SWING! (Monkey pun intended) haha. I have coupons for classic breakfast selections… when are WE going?!?!?!?!

Thanks for the update on the opening – we added the info in the post.

Me, you, and Kim should totally meet for breakfast one day! That would be fun, and we could get a good, healthy post out of it! What time do they open, do you know?
