Special Event to Fight Lyme Disease

Our good buddy and fellow Central Florida resident at GoSpeedRaser.com has been raising awareness and helping fight against Lyme Disease in honor of his beautiful sister for quite some time. If you’re not familiar with Lyme Disease it’s terribly painful, consisting of fever, headaches, fatigue and often rashes.

We at “Pulse” always try to support charities/non-profits and events we believe in when we can (Relay For Life, Special Olympics), so we’re happy to help promote this Lyme event taking place next Thursday, organized by Orlando resident Katie Johnston in honor of Elizabeth Chalker, who has been affected by Lyme. If you’re in the area or would like to support a local charity event, please click here for event info. Event will start at 7pm at Wall Street Plaza’s The Other Bar, and prizes will be raffled off.

Here’s a little more about Lyme Disease, a PSA to John’s sister from her friend Candice Accola, one of the stars of the CW’s “The Vampire Diaries”:

We’ll see you there….
