Friend of Pulse, Kathryn, was chosen by the College Park Partnership to help beautify the neighborhood by painting one of the utility boxes in town. Her box sits just outside the bustling Tijuana Flats on the corner of Edgewater and Smith Street.
The theme of the box was chosen by the College Park Partnership, and we think Kathryn did an amazing job bringing her version of “flowers” to an otherwise bland eyesore.
Way to go, Kathryn! Check out her website for a pretty extensive collection of art — she’s one talented lady!
If you’ve spent any time in Downtown Orlando, you’ve surely seen the smiling face of Milton McKnight. A staple to Downtown Orlando, Milton suffers from cerebral palsy … but you’d hardly know it because his face is always so full of cheer.
Now, his wheelchair is failing and the folks from Knight want to help get him a new chair. So, if you’ve seen Milton’s smiling face and wanna find a way to help, look no further than here.
What are you waiting for?
Doesn’t it look so much bigger here?”
(I have no idea what this was in reference to, but I found it extremely funny for some reason.)
And, we have another awesome reader submission! Okay, okay, this one didn’t come from around Central Florida, but it was just too good to pass up. Thanks for thinking of us, Justin!
