This past Friday night we took a trip over to Central Florida’s annual Snap! Orlando to absorb a little local culture (yes…we DO have it!). Not familiar with Snap!? Well, straight from Snap.com:
The mission of Snap! Orlando is to boldly increase the visibility and appreciation of the photographic medium as a significant cultural art form and to enhance Orlando’s national presence as a vibrant cultural tourism destination.”
This year’s event was a gem, containing great music, people, drinks, and most importantly art! Here’s a glimpse of what this year’s Snap! has to offer.
Snap! closes today, so if you haven’t yet been you’ve still got a little time to check it out! To keep up with all things Snap! for this year and events to come, you can Follow on Twitter and Like on Facebook.
Location deets:
The Snap! event is taking place at various locations in downtown Orlando. The prime spot, though, is the “Urban Wild” space located at 400 Pittman St, Orlando, Fl 32801. All locations can be found on the Snap! website.
We’ve caught a few great tags roaming about the Central Florida area lately. Wanted to share with you, of course!

This makes for some great Friday fun! Minors, hide your eyes….
Thanks to friend and fan @kugabear for sharing this awesome find with us.
These blinged-out utility boxes keep popping up as I trek across Central Florida. Actually, I’m sure they’re not popping up so much as I just continue to stumble up on them. I think this has to be one of my favorites (located on the corner of Ferncreek and Livingston in Colonialtown):
Curious to know if any of you Pulse-ites can name this spot? It’s been around for many, many years and some consider it a staple of the Central Florida scene.
No, my Couga!
I would so love it if this car belonged to this pal of ours. I’m quite certain it does not.
Why do I feel like this should belong to Jay-Z? Or perhaps someone in his posse?
