Pulse of Central Florida is a blog about the Orlando and Central Florida area from an insider’s perspective, Co-Edited by two residents who have lived here for over 20 years combined. It covers everything from entertainment, shopping, news, people, fashion, and more.

Hi guys,
I love your website and the information you are providing for newcomers or those who already live in Orlando and still have no idea all that there is to do there, is awesome. Keep up the great work.
Terry Taylor:
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment. We’ll do our best to provide you with interesting, relevant, and entertaining information! Stay tuned….
Nice place you are building here. We’ll stay tuned!
Are you guys on Twitter? Hit me up at http://www.twitter.com/somacowgeoff
Geoff:
Thanks for the props! I like your site, too.
Right now “Pulse” isn’t on Twitter, but I’m considering setting-up a profile. I have a personal profile at Twitter.com/Social_Citizen, which you’re welcome to follow.
Here’s a pic for your pet section. This is my service dog, Zeke, at Disney World.

Hi akeorlando! Thanks for the comment! You’re right, you’re blog is like my out of state cousin! I actually used to live in Orlando for like 6 months. Don’t really go back anymore, but every once in a while I’ll make the occassional pitstop in Winter Park to get the chocolate cake at Briarpatch. It’s my favorite chocolate cake ever!
Hey have you seen OrlandoScene.TV – the site is similar to yours – wanting to get out info to locals and newcomers.
Ryan:
I have heard of OrlandoScene.TV, but haven’t spent too much time looking around their site. Looks pretty cool though — I’ll have to devote some time there.
Hey!
Nice blog you got here. Thanks for visiting my blog too.
Learned much about your place.
Can I add you up to my blogroll?
What a great idea for a blog! I like how you are exploring other forms of entertainment outside of the theme parks. Orlando just so happens to be one of the best golf destinations in the US!
Aside from that…. hrmm…… ?? There’s ah….. Solarbears….
LOL!
Hey! You guys should cover the brand new PUBLIX that’s opening on Central Blvd, downtown!! It opens on Sept. 6th!! There are bound to be some free giveaways, too
\V
@Veronique Of course! We’re all over it.
Hi there. Thanks for the blogby. I am so glad I came to say hi because I love your site and will bookmark it. I always love knowing what’s going on & good places to go. Thanks!!!!
@Live.Love.Eat Thanks! We appreciate your stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Please don’t be a stranger.
You guys keep me up to date on many of the events and places surrounding Orlando. Keep up the great work!
Hey there! What a fantastic blog!! I also live in Orlando! It is nice to see a brother from another mother right here!! I love Orlando…. Can I add you to my blogroll?
@Prudence Thanks for the props, and for stopping by. It’s great to meet fellow Central Florida bloggers.
Yes, please feel free to add us!
Looks like we are similar in theme
although I get a little carried away on the whimsical story telling side, where you guys are more clear cut info with amusing anecdotes. Look forward to reading more.
And I’ve been wondering why I’m so out of the know. Now I know. You’re a one-stop shop and a great quick-read monitor on my hometown.
So the Colony in Winter Park is haunted eh? Please tell me more.
@sorrentolens Yes! Actually, when I worked there one morning a couple of associates and I came in to work, and a large mirror was on the floor. Not really that creepy, except for the fact that it was originally behind a display of dishes, and it had “hopped” over the dishes — none of them had moved.
Thanks for the comments about my site. I live and work Downtown and just want to provide community and real estate info to everyone. Looks like you’re doing the same! Great blog and I look forward to reading more often.
akeorlando-did we work at PB in Winter Park at the same time?
I was there 9/06 to 10/08.
You’re telling the Elliot story about the mirror!
Little Miss Sunshine State Well, no…but yes. Oddly enought I did work at PB in Winter Park, but I was there from 8/00 to 3/02, many years before you.
If I can recall, there are plenty of “haunted” stories about that building!
Thanks akeorlando and klynn for your inspiration of moving into the technology world. I will hopefully be seeking your advice and expertise on a couple of blogging ideas in the near future.
Hi! I just discovered your blog and am very glad I did… this month I moved down to Orlando from NYC, and am still trying to orient myself with the various neighborhoods. I suspect your blog will be a great resource for learning about social opportunities around my new city!
@Kimberly Thank you so much! We appreciate it; it’s what we’re here for.
Hello! Found you through twitter

@veronique Suh-weet! Thanks.
I found your blog because I wanted more information on bicycles. I run a bicycle blog and I am looking for good content to link to for future posts. I like you site so I am adding you to my google reader.
Can’t believe I haven’t seen you before! Good info, great site, and I will be reading.
Like somacowgeoff, feel free to contact me via Twitter at http://www.twitter.om/centralfltop5
@Bess Rock on! Thanks for popping-in.
Fun and informative site you’ve created. We’ll be sure to mention you in an upcoming blog post.

You guys are like the better version of the Examiner! It’s funny that your name blog’s name is Pulse because I often go to Pulse, the gay club, but I’m sure you both get that a lot. I live in Orlando myself and it’s reassuring to know that there are fellow bloggers in Orlando who write good stuff. My blog isn’t as informative as yours, but it sure is good stuff. Best, The Drunxter
Thanks, Drunxter!
