One of the great things about living in a place as large as Central Florida is there’s always something to do. One often has to search for it (actually, you don’t you just need to read this blog – we’ll do the searching for you). Recently a couple of friends and I decided to take that journey and found ourselves experiencing the jewel that is Old Town in Kissimmee. Trust me, if you’ve never been you deserve to see it at least once in your Central Florida life.
Eat. Shop. Ride.”
Honestly, Old Town is a pure heaven for someone who enjoys taking pictures and people watching. Let’s take a look at some of the things you might encounter while walking down Old Town’s main strip:
Intrigued yet? You should be. And if you’re not, perhaps your interest will be piqued by heading over to the mechanical bull…located right in the middle of everything.
It really is a treat to just walk around, soak in the sights, and visits some of the stores/vendors that seriously seem to have traveled from another dimension and landed smack dab in the middle of our beloved Central Florida.
And I’ll leave you with this, as a sample of another thing you can find at Old Town (yes, we paid for it; sorry for the quality – it was much better on my phone):
Nice, huh?
Complete details about all the shopping, events, eating, and rides can be found on Old Town’s website. Seriously…you gotta check it out.

You need to go on Saturday night for the classic car show. They cruise around Old Town and there’s live entertainment (usually classic rock and oldies).
Oh, that’s when we were there, my friend. It was definitely quite a treat!
Great post Ashley. I recently visited Old Town and it’s such fun! Loads of great things to see and do.
Best wishes, Alex
