So as residents of Central Florida I’m sure we’re all looking for “the best deals” and special offers from area restaurants and businesses. Along with the most up-to-date news and information. I know I am, anyway. So I started thinking about one of the best ways to do this, and it became very evident to me: Twitter.

It’s one of the biggest digital trends right now, and there are many local businesses that offer insight, deals, and discounts via Twitter – you just have to know where to find them. So I thought I’d put together a list of some of the ones I’ve found. So here goes:

As you can see they’re actively engaged with their Followers, and have a nice balance of conversation, promotions, and marketing messages.

Now I know this isn’t everything. In fact, I’m already anticipating missing alot here, but hopefully this has been helpful. If you follow a Central Florida business on Twitter and don’t see it featured here, please feel free to share with us by leaving a comment in this post.

Firstly, the guy hasn’t even been in office a full year? Secondly, this driver is being very presumptuous about the outcome of the 2012 election!

Everyone will undoubtedly always have an opinion, particularly when it comes to politics (see this post), but it seems to me like this should be a time of support…now more than ever.

I’ve been meaning to do a post about White Wolf Cafe for months-and-months, but every time I’ve gone there I’ve forgotten to bring my camera. If you’ve never been to White Wolf you’ve truly been missing out – it’s been on of my favorite local restaurants for a very long time. Unique and quaint, the restaurant is located on Antique Row (as it’s known by locals), and truly is a one-of-a-kind experience in the Central Florida area.

One of the main things that stands out about this restaurant is the antiques displayed throughout the dining area. Framed photos, lamps, furniture pieces: it’s all for purchase! There are also articles from different publications featured around the venue. There really are lots of things to keep your attention, besides the yummy food!

Getting to the food, I have never had a disappointing meal at White Wolf; I’ve eaten there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (although not all on the same day!). Each menu has an extremely wide variety of dishes, and even something for those who are a little more “health conscious” (i.e., salads and vegetarian dishes), and are very affordable for the amount of food served. Keep in mind, however, that the dinner menu is a bit more pricey than the breakfast and lunch menus. If you want to check-them-out you click here to get to the menus posted online.

During this particular visit I ordered their awesome club sandwich, which as you can tell from the photo below is quite substantial. Definitely plenty of food!

One of the great things about White Wolf Cafe is its location. After your meal–depending on what time it is–you can mosey over to the shops on Antique Row, and throw some support to local businesses!
