Music for your Soul

I first saw Marc Broussard back in 2003 at House of Blues here in Orlando. It was a year after his debut album was released. To me, he was a relative unknown. The ticket was $8 and he, along with Gavin DeGraw, were openers for Maroon 5.

I was blown away the first time … enough to see him again in 2005, 2007 and once more last Thursday night.

I don’t know how else to describe his music other than to say it’s good for your soul.

Here’s one of my favorites, “Rocksteady,” with an intro you’ll definitely recognize!
