Like it raw? Put the brakes on: I’m talking about food here! Well-being enthusiast blogger Julie Kalivretenos recently published a post reviewing and interviewing the owner of the new Café 118° in Winter Park. If you’re a fan of raw, vegan, or vegetarian food you might want to read Julie’s post…and even take a visit to Café 118°. Me, I tend to like my food cooked so I’m not sure you’ll be seeing a review here on “Pulse” anytime soon (unless klynn ends-up doing one). But you never know…I just might get a wild hair one day!

Too bad he doesn’t open one in Brevard. I’d love to go to a raw foods restaurant, just to see what it’s like.

Speaking of wild hair, visit my new Salon’s website:

I’m the newest member of the staff.

@Karen ^..^ I might be willing to at least give the cafe a shot. Stay tuned….

And yes…I saw your post about the salon! Too bad you’re not closer to the downtown area, otherwise I’d definitely visit.

Thanks for stopping by! My two guys really enjoyed the Walking with Dinosaurs show. When the dinosaur could be lifesized, they were. There was a narrator walking with them giving facts and interacting with them. They also had some that reached their heads into the audience. My dinosaur loving boy was in heaven. I suppose if you are older and not into it, you may have to test your imagination. I would say on a cheese factor scale of 1-10 (1 being really cheesy) I give it an 8. My hubby said the animatronics were pretty good. (he works at disney) The show quality was good too!! Have a great week!

@Kelly Hmmm…well, after your opinion I might have to reconsider going to the exhibit! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the mention! Cafe 118 is definitely worth trying, no matter what you do or don’t eat. There’s nothing like it in Orlando, so you’ll definitely get a unique experience.

@Julie’s Raw Ambition OK, I’ll put it on my “list of places to check-out,” and consider it next time I’m dining in Winter Park. Stay tuned for a post….
