Earlier today I was driving somewhere and turned on the radio. I was shocked–and a little perturbed–to already hear holiday music playing. Specifically, it was local Central Florida radio station 107.7; it wasn’t just one song, but continuous plays. I seem to recall “Winter Wonderland,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “So This is Christmas,” and more!
Really? It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, and we’re hearing holiday music? Am I over-reacting?

107.7 has played Christmas music extermely early for as long as I can remember. Almost as early as Wal-Mart starts selling decorations.

That would seem odd in Florida. 150 degree weather and Christmas songs playing. Odd thought.
